ONE | December: Southern Idaho Newborn Photographer
I hope you all enjoyed a fantastic Thanksgiving filled with food and loved ones as we did.  November was such a beautiful month.  Since taking up photography, I've begun to notice and appreciate the unique nuances of each season.  November seems to have the longest most golden sunsets.  The last of the colorful leaves are holding on to their branches and the whole world gushes the last of its warm bold colors.  We zip into our coats from time to time, but generally it's still warm enough to be slipping into our jackets instead.  November is a great time to be alive and outside.

I took this picture below on a weekend trip to my in-laws' dairy farm.  I followed my youngest son on a walk around the farm.  The sunset was unreal that evening.  I chuckled as I snapped this image of my toddler getting really up close and personal with the bovine ladies.

A family with five kids, ages 8 down to a few months. This session could best be described as controlled chaos. But it is hands-down one of my absolute favorite sessions to date. This. All of it. These are the kind of images I strive to make for my clients.  Lots of joy and connection peppered with some humor and real life disarray.  It doesn't get any more authentic than this.

Bonus fact: This adorable mama and I played the violin in college together!  This is the first we've seen each other in over a decade.  It felt surreal to meet her sweet family and to see how truly blessed she is today.

ONE | November: Twin Falls Family Photographer
October was a beautiful and busy month.  My only wish was that the warm sixty degree days coupled with the bright orange leaves falling like confetti everywhere would last twice as long!

This photo is a personal favorite from the last month.  We went for a walk before dinner one evening where my middle and youngest boys became enamored with the dirt along the little canal.  I watched quietly as they bonded over earth worms and a hole in the ground... as boys have undoubtedly been doing for centuries.  This boy mom gigue is the best!

Some high school seniors just make my job easy.  Kennedi was just such a senior.  She was a fun model who simply trusted me when I asked her walk into a wall of leaves.  Lol!  She must have shared my vision for these pictures because her gallery had so many great ones to choose from.  I wish I could post them all.  Kennedi is a sweet girl inside and out.  I wish her only the best during this last official year of childhood before she heads off into the world.  Thanks for choosing me to immortalize this special time in your life, Kennedi.

Never in the history of families has there been a more photogenic group than this one.  I honestly think that the more kids there are, the easier it is to pose the group!  This family is the best.  And I am not just saying that.  I am lucky enough to call them my friends -- and the oldest girls my babysitters!  They are genuine, kind, and talented people.  I hope these photos reflect that in some small way.
