ONE | September: Southern Idaho Family Photographer

September 1, 2018

Here we go!  Summer is officially over and I'm jumping feet first in to family photography sessions.  Fall is by far my busiest season for this little photo business of mine.  The leaves, the sweaters, the colors... it's all fantastic.  Will I be seeing you by chance in the next two months for pictures?

In other news, we finished off a summer chuck full of sunshine, water, and outdoor fun visiting my dad in California for his 60th birthday.  This is a shot of Levi feeding seagulls from the bow of his boat that he's currently restoring.  We had so much fun on that trip.

Now my two big boys, Jed and Levi, are in school.  They started 3rd and 1st grades this week.  I'll be honest.  I always struggle at the beginning of the school year.  My kids are suddenly gone for 8 hours of the day (I miss them!) and life speeds up to 100mph as we squish their activities, homework, and dinner in before bed at 8pm.  On the other hand, the good news is that I get to settle in to a routine that includes plenty of one-on-one time with my littlest man, Conrad.

It's going to be a good year.  I can feel it.

Please continue through September's blog circle to check out what the talented Kalamazoo Family Photographer, Sarah Rypma, has to share!

ONE is a blog circle that I have joined with several other very talented photographers. On the first of each month we will be sharing ONE image that spoke to our hearts from the four weeks before. It's bound to be a set of eye candy that you won't want to miss!
